Alba de Tormes
The village of Alba the Tormes is in the province of
Salamanca, where 6000 people live with a great tourist attraction for its museums.
The town is known for its patroness: Saint Teresa, a
great Founder. This year we are celebrating the 5th Centenary of his birth with
the inauguration of the exhibition: “Las Edades del Hombre”.
Among its monuments you can visit the tower of the
Duke of Alba.
You can also visit its churches and the museum of
Saint Teresa.
In Alba the Tormes there are many places to eat. And
you can have coffee with milk in the main square.
I hope you enjoy your visit!!!

Alba de Tormes
ALBA DE TORMES is in a very good season, with
the celebration of the 5th Centenary of Saint Teresa and the inauguration of
the exhibition “Las Edades del Hombre” with the presence of Queen Sofia.
Alba is a town that has many important things: the
church of Saint John, a museum inside the church of the Annunciation with the
arm and the heart of Saint Teresa. In Alba de Tormes you can see the castle,
the old convent of the Carmelites… And the festivals are nice. They begin in
February and continue with the carnival, Easter Monday…
We wait for you!
